A long-term educational course "School of Managers" has been launched

The first module of the educational course "School of Managers" organized within an EU-funded project "Learn to Act" was held on May 26-30, 2017 in Volozhin District of Minsk Region. The seminar was attended by 24 managers of local and regional NGOs engaged in the field of adult and non-formal education from all regions of Belarus.

The topic of the seminar was “Introduction to adult, non-formal and civic education. Marketing of educational programs”. Belarusian trainers Veronika Sadovnikova, Leonid Kalitenya and Vasily Pron presented the structure of the Belarusian educational sector and the place of non-formal education in it, explored the theoretical basics and practical tools of marketing and management of educational programs, and outlined various approaches to civic education in Belarus.

A separate block of the seminar was devoted to the presentation of the German experience: an expert from Adult Education Center in Cham (Bavaria) Monika Dierfeld presented the main elements of the German life-long learning sector and shared the secrets of designing educational programs for adults.

The educational course "School of Managers" is aimed at improving the competences of specialists of local and regional NGOs from all regions of Belarus in developing and promoting programs of adult, non-formal and civic education, as well as using modern communication tools.

Two more five-day seminars are planned within the School: "Project management and administration" (July 5-9, 2017), "Networking, advocacy and the use of modern communication channels" (August 25-29, 2017).
