It is their members who most often form unauthorized landfills next to their partnerships. All this equipment will help to get rid of spontaneous landfills, to remove garbage and to straighten littered territories, to plant forests there that will continue to bring wood, or eventually to go to the field that can be used, ‒ Andrei Kremen underlined.
On the same day, the winners of the drawing contest on the correct treatment of waste among the educational institutions of the Puhavichy district were awarded at the " Marjinaрorski UPC kindergarden ‒ secondary school". Its organizers were the Education, Sports and Tourism Department of the Puchavičy District Executive Committee and the IPO "Ecopartnership". The jury selected 12 best works, which became illustrations for the wall calendar. It is distributed free of charge in the Puchavičy District and it helps to attract the attention of residents to issues of natural dumps, composting of organic waste, separate collection of garbage.
Both events were held within the framework of the "Strengthening Waste Management Services for the Rural Population of Puchavičy District", funded by the European Union, whose budget is 391.7 thousand euros.
