From November 11 to December 11 themed information sessions for schoolchildren are held in the cities that signed the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy. The kids will learn which consequences of climate change can already be seen in Belarus, and how their native cities contribute to climate conservation.
IPO “Ecopartnership” has prepared a detailed session plan and a poster for these information sessions dedicated to the topic “Our city saves the planet’s climate”. The teachers who supported this initiative provide photo reports. They are available at spare-belarus.by, a website for teachers.
These information sessions may be held by any educational institution from 16 cities: Polack, Rahačoŭ, Ašmiany, Navahrudak, Čavusy, Kobryn, Braslaŭ, Brest, Biaroza, Hlybokaje, Mahilioŭ, Kličaŭ, Viliejka, Šarkaŭščyna, Vietka, Orša.
