“Submit for Recycling”, the first environmental campaign for electric and electronic appliances waste collection, took place in Pukhavichy district.
On October 22 and 29, the UE “Zhilteploservis” mobile collection point went round several areas of Pukhavichy district. At its stops, villagers could bring over their waste household appliances – old washing machines, refrigerators and TVs. UE “Zhilteploservis” employees helped people carry heavy items to the mobile collection point.
The villagers were active in giving their electrical and electronic waste, they received ecobags or magnets as gifts.
On October 22, the campaign visited Pravdinsky, Rudensk, Druzhny and Svisloch villages, on October 29 it took place in Dukora, Energiya and Drichin agricultural settlements.
Pukhavichy District Executive Committee, IPO “Ecopartnership” and the EU project “Development of Waste Management Services in Pukhavichy District” supported the campaign.
