EU Twinning Project: "Strengthening the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus" is seeking to recruit Resident Twinning Adviser Project Assistant and Resident Twinning Adviser Project Language Assistant.
About the EU Twinning Project
The objective of this project is to strengthen the capacities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to effectively address existing and emerging disaster risks in Belarus, and to improve civil protection and disaster risk management services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus by applying best practices from the EU Member States in implementation of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.
About assignment
This Twinning Project aims to create a multi-dimensional enabling environment for the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) in Belarus to explore the best EU practices on various aspects of civil protection and disaster management. The project is designed to provide a unique opportunity for the MES to deepen their understanding about the European Civil Protection legal and regulatory frameworks and establish working relationships with the EU partners on various operational areas related to civil protection. This is believed to create necessary preconditions for increased synergy and alignment with the Union acquis on civil protection and improved operational contacts at the professional level.
