Children's book on e-waste recycling published with EU funds

A children's book about the adventures of discarded household appliances has come out in Belarus as part of an EU-funded project for the Puchavičy district, Minsk region.

Written by Maryia Masyahina and illustrated by Vola Kuzmich, Interesting Journey. A Story on How Old Things Found a New Home explains why electric and electronic waste should not be discarded at ordinary dumpsites, let alone illegal dumps.

The book, published by an environmental group called Ekopartnyorstvo (Ecopartnership), is available for download at ecopartnerstvo.by. Its paper version will be distributed during the project's events.
