IMPORTANT! Compliance with the 14-day self-isolation mode is mandatory for individuals arriving from countries included into the list of countries with registered cases of COVID-19. Please check the updated Ministry of Health (MoH) list here (in Russian).
Arriving in Belarus from the MoH-listed countries:
1) You will receive 2 copies of the Requirements to Compliance with the Self-Isolation Rules.
2) You will be requested to fill out the Questionnaire for a Person Arriving from a Country with Registered Cases of COVID-19.
You will also receive a leaflet with COVID-19 prevention tips.
When entering Belarus, you will have to undergo several steps of control:
1) Sanitary quarantine control (no-touch temperature check, visual screening)
2) Border control
3) Customs control
4) Phytosanitary or veterinary control (if necessary).
1) You will be asked for documents allowing you to cross the Belarusian border
2) If you are arriving from a MoH-listed country, they will:
- check your completion of the Questionnaire for a Person Arriving from a Country with Registered Cases of COVID-19
- issue the Requirements to Compliance with the Self-Isolation Rules to you.
II. TRANSIT
If you are entering from the MoH-listed countries, please keep in mind that:
• the transit must be completed within two days upon entry into the country;
• freight carriers transiting Belarus must leave the country following the shortest route possible no later than one day after the date of entry into the country. Please note that there are designated rest, catering and filling locations for freight carriers. Please see more details at the website of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
If you feel that you cannot meet the deadlines, please take measures to ensure your 14-day self-isolation.
1) Inspect your documents allowing you to cross the Belarusian border
2) Inspect your document supporting your right to make the transit
3) If you are arriving from a MoH-listed country, they will:
- check your completion of the Questionnaire for a Person Arriving from a Country with Registered Cases of COVID-19
- issue the Requirements to Compliance with the Self-Isolation Rules to you.
The situation with COVID-19 keeps changing; therefore, if you plan to come to Belarus, please make sure to monitor the latest developments. You may follow the updated Belarus entry/transit data at the website of the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
• Avoid touching your face (eyes, mouth, nose).
• Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use a hand sanitizer.
• Make sure that the hand sanitizers contain at least 60% alcohol.
• When coughing, cover your mouth with a tissue or your elbow.
• Air the premises and frequently disinfect the objects touched by you (doorknobs, furniture, etc.).
• Discard disposable wipes, tissues and masks into a closed bin.
• Wear a mask in public locations, if you have respiratory symptoms. Perform hand hygiene after discarding the mask.
• Keep a distance of 1.5 metres between yourself and other people and avoid contacting sick persons.
