Join Small Rivers Festival in Pinsk district

First cross-border Small Rivers Festival Belarus - Ukraine will take place on August 22, 2018 in Pinsk district. Join this eco-celebration with your family!

Festival will take place within the framework of “Cross-border Water Inspectors”. It is aimed at saving small rivers of Prypiać river basin, which passes through Pinsk (Belarus) and Lubeshiv (Ukraine) districts.

A few different areas will work throughout the festival. Together with street artist Bazinato guests will create eco installation. During workshops participants will learn how to make eco jewelery fr om grass and hay, create and send postcard by “green post” and make unique eco bag.

Also there will be a concert of Belarusian and Ukranian music groups in parallel with contests and workshops. Guests of festival will hear RSP (Belarus), Recha (Belarus), Vibeclub (Belarus), Yavar i Kalina (Belarus), Kolir (Ukraine), One Light Inside (Ukraine).

Festival will take place in village Pinkavičy, on stadium at Zornaja street, 12. Event starts at 14:00.

This festival will finish cross-border summer camp, which will take place during August 16 and 21 in village Kalavuravičy. 200 schoolchildren from Pinsk and Lubeshiv districts will take part there. These boys and girls will become participants of 20 public ecological posts and monitor the condition of small rivers of Prypiać river basin in places wh ere they live.

“Cross-border Water Inspectors” initiative is co-funded by the European Union within Eastern Partnership Territorial Cooperation Programme Belarus - Ukraine. Project is being implemented by Pinsk District Executive Committee and Interakcia Foundation from Belarusian side and Lubeshiv Public Ecological Organization “World Around Us” together with Department of Education, Youth and Sport of Lubeshiv District State Administration.
