In support of the international Winter Bike to Work Day, during the entire business day of 8 February, a Minsk coffee shop will serve free coffee, tea and sweet treats to customers coming to the establishment on bicycles. One will have to brings one’s own cup, or consume the drinks in the coffee shop.
Similar actions will also be held in Homieĺ, Brest and Mahilioŭ.

Belarus traditionally joins in the #winterbiketowork international day.
The Winter Bike to Work Day is held worldwide for the seventh time. 335 Belarusians officially joined in the event last year, and our country ranked the 12th worldwide by the number of participants.
The objective of the Winter Bike to Work Day is to remind people that a bicycle can be an adequate means of transportation all the year round. The event participants of both sexes pledge to ride to go or studies by bike that day. In order to be officially counted and demonstrate that your city and your country actually ride bikes in winter, please register at the website.
The Winter Bike to Work Day is organised in Minsk by the Minsk Cycling Community and the Centre for Environmental Solutions in partnership with Coffee Porappo coffee shop within the Business Bike Campaign under the Urban Cycling in Belarus Project with financial support from the European Union.
