15.20 – 15.50 Global Overview of experience of integration of diaspora into development of social and economic life of their home countries worldwide, Gerd Junne, Chairman of the Board of The Network University (TNU, Amsterdam, the Netherlands)

15.50 – 16.05 Young Belarusian diaspora abroad, brain drain problem and how and when they can get involved. Maria Cheriakova, Consultant with the ODB Brussels on social entrepreneurship, author of the book ‘Heta Belarus, Dzietka! (Amsterdam, the Netherlands). Ms Cheriakova will share her personal experience of how she got involved back into Belarusian issues and what other young Belarusian diaspora think could attract them to invest their time and resources in Belarus

16.05 – 16.25 ‘Belarus and its Diaspora of Professionals: How to Use the Opportunities’, Alexander Chaichits, Adviser on international PR, Moscow, Russia. Mr Chaichits will speak about cooperation between the government of Belarus and the most productive generation of the diaspora - 30/40 years old professionals and "drained brains" from business, senior managers, academics, and other.

16.30 – 17.00 ‘Belarusian Diaspora in the World, Challenges and Opportunities’ Alena Makouskaya, Head of the International Public Association of Belarusians of the World “Homeland”, Minsk, Belarus

17.00 – 17.15 Coffee-break

17.15 – 17.55 Discussion with the audience with the focus on the solutions of the raised by the  panelists issues and concerns. How to improve the situation and tap in the knowledge of the Belarusian diaspora to support the social and economic development of their home country
