On the Day of Energy Saving IPO "Ecopartnership" launches a video competition in the cities participating in the "Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy" initiative. Any puple or class can become a participant, who will remove a small video about climate change in his city or about eco-habits that help to prevent climate change.
In order to make a video, pupils are offered to familiarize themselves with the cycle of social advertising "Buslik gives an eco advices" and discuss with parents or grandparents what changes in the climate in their area they have noticed in recent decades. Children can retell the received knowledge and facts on the video or invite the older generation to appear in the video. Pupils can also share their personal eco-habits with the audience to reduce greenhouse gas emissions: use of public transport or a bicycle; economical use of energy, water and other resources; purchase more environmentally friendly products and much more.
Video works can be filmed on a mobile phone and do not require professional skills. For the organizers of the competition, it is important that residents of the cities-signatories of the Covenant of Mayors understand the climate change in their region and contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in everyday life.
