‘Young European Ambassadors’ initiative that we are launching at the EaP regional level. As per our earlier communications regarding the tools and actions we are going to use in our campaign, this is one that we intend to engage better the ‘Young People’ with. In this context, we are glad to announce that we have launched the Call for Applications to become part of the ‘Young European Ambassadors’ network for the young people from the Eastern Partnership countries and Member States to register. It has been done through a Facebook post:https://www.facebook.com/euopenforyou/?fref=ts and a news alert will be issued today.
As mentioned above, the ‘Young European Ambassadors' (YEAs) is an initiative launched within the framework of the EU OPEN Neighbourhood Programme (‘EU Neighbours East’). It will cover the six countries of the EU Eastern Neighbourhood from September 2016 onward. The network members will have the opportunity to regularly exchange information and views on Europe (culture, values, current issues,...) as well as to engage in dialogue-driven activities and community actions in the EaP countries and the EU.
The network will be manager by two Network Coordinators, Sophie Vériter and Anthony Adams that are my colleagues and are based in our office in Brussels. Easy communication platforms will be developed in order to facilitate exchanges and communication, regular Young European Ambassadors missions will be prepared, contests will be organised, and more!
