Description
Goals and objectives: The project is aimed at reinforcing the Belarus economic capacity and accelerating private sector growth in the country. A particular focus will placed on support of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by stimulating investments and adopting public-private partnership (PPP) mechanisms.Interim outcomes: The project is expected in improve the capacity of various public agencies in such areas as improving the competitive edge of private business including small and medium enterprises, creating of a more attractive investment climate for raising and maintaining a larger volume of foreign direct investments (FDIs) in the country, and developing public-private partnership mechanisms.
