Medical equipment will be procured for Brest Regional Hospital with the European Union funds

Under the project entitled “Improvement of epidemiological safety at the Polish-Belarusian border area”, Brest Regional Clinical Hospital will procure six ventilators, two defibrillators, 10 laryngoscopes, as well as some expendable medical supplies.

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the European Union granted an additional allocation of more than €245,000 to the hospital for procuring the equipment for the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital Infection Ward.

The project is implemented within the Poland-Belarus-Ukraine Programme of Cross-Border Cooperation in cooperation with a specialized hospital in Biała Podlaska (Lublin Voivodeship). The European Union contribution amounts to EUR 1.8 mn. Some equipment has already been procured and is being installed in the hospital; the remaining equipment will be procured in the near future.
